Mereka Connect boasts a built-in calendar feature that allows you to efficiently schedule your Experiences and Spaces, better picture your upcoming bookings and understand which services perform better than the others with the use of colors:

  • Red = no bookings
  • Yellow = partially booked / low bookings
  • Blue = mostly booked (more than 80% of the seats)
  • Green = fully booked

This allows an easier visualization of the “Bookings” tab. You can also block certain dates based on the service host’s availability to ensure no bookings are received on these dates and to avoid rescheduling.

Please note that currently our calendar is not integrated with Google Calendar, so the planning and scheduling process can only happen within the platform.

Getting started

  1. Go to the Mereka Connect homepage (mereka.io) and sign in to your account.
  2. Click on your Hub’s name in the top right corner to access your Hub dashboard.
  3. On the dashboard, click on “Calendar” located at the top bar.

How it works

Please note that the calendar functionality for both Experiences and Spaces would be similar. In this article, all the examples are given with the use of the Experiences interface.

  1. To view the calendar for all Experience bookings, click the “Experience” toggle on the left side of the screen.
  2. The calendar can be viewed either monthly (by default) or weekly by clicking on the “Month/Week” dropdown on the right side of the screen and customizing it according to your preferences.
  3. You can block or unblock certain dates by clicking the three dots on the right side of the screen. This is to ensure your host’s schedule doesn’t clash with any upcoming sessions in case they aren’t available. You are able to block multiple slots at a time by clicking on the “Add Slot” button.
  4. Clicking on a particular date / particular slot will show more information about the Experience and its respective bookings such as the title, the amount of tickets booked, its status and profits. It is also possible to list a new Experience from here by clicking the “Add Experience” button (you’d be redirected to the Experience form).
  5. Additionally, by clicking the “Notes” icon next to the date and time of the Experience on the right panel, you can also make changes to the listed Experience by clicking on “Manage Listings” which will redirect you to the Experience editing page.
  6. By clicking the “Settings” icon on the right panel (after having clicked the “Notes” icon), you can make instant edits to your booking (without being redirected to the Experience form). For example, you may change the capacity or add Mereka Pass tickets by clicking the pencil icon. Please note that this only works for a particular session and not any other scheduled sessions for this Experience.

If you ever have any questions regarding your calendar functionality, do not hesitate to contact our team via team@mereka.io or by submitting an enquiry via this form.
