Experts are an invaluable asset of Mereka Connect. They are an endless source of knowledge and inspiration for users, and an essential pillar of any Hub. In this article, we’ll share the basics of what it means to be an Expert for Mereka Connect.
It is important to invite talented Experts to your Hub as they will be the ones conducting Experiences and providing consultation services in your Spaces. Additionally, if your Hub rents out Machines, Experts will be the ones to assist your users in operating them.

It’s also possible (and recommended!) to assign specific roles to the Experts within your Hub. To learn more about user roles and permissions, read this article.
Fun fact - Mereka Connect was actually created in response to the gig economy! Hence, a large part of our purpose is helping workers to navigate and thrive in our changing economy, and we will always stay true to these roots.
Mereka Connect Experts are therefore verified professionals who possess either an educational background or substantial experience in one or many fields. We value diversified experience and are staunch advocates of interdisciplinary learning.
To be an Expert on Mereka Connect is to run and gain exposure to a wide range of services such as managing Hubs, conducting Experiences, hosting Spaces and providing consultations on Machines.
